I have just bought a tablet PC ALGIZ 7 that comes with the miniGPS141 software for the use of the GPS. We work in Spain, near Grenwich Meridian. We use in our maps the European datum 1950 (huso 30) projection and we are not quite sure about which one of all the datum available in the software is more appropriate for us. Now, we are using this one: (67) European 1950 "Mean for Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland", but we have detected that there is an error of 15 m.

I would like to ask you also, how can I save an initial configuration in order to keep it always the same without having to introduce all the data every time for further works? And I don't know how can I fix the datum in the software or I always must put it when I am going to use it.

I see that the tablet is using Windows 7 as operating system. The settings don't save because the file is launched without administrator access. You have to do it using right click or long tap on the file, then select Run as Administrator. This operation will give system access to application and it will allow it to save all the changes. For Spain, it's recommended to use the European 1979 datum.
