I need to install Windows Live Messenger version 8.5, because the 2009 version does not work on my windows XP. How do I do it?

I need to install Windows Live Messenger version 8.5, because the 2009 version does not work on my windows XP. How do I do it?

Windows Live Messenger is not available anymore because Microsoft bought Skype and now their main chat application was embedded into the Skype client. Download Skype and then log-in with your MSN/Live username.
