How can I use Canon RemoteCapture on Windows Vista?

I have a Canon G6 digital camera and I wish to use Canon RemoteCapture on my Windows Vista laptop. Can you help?

Since the application is developed only for Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems, you can try to run it on your Windows Vista PC, using the Compatibility Mode. Right-click on the program launcher and go to Properties > Compatibility tab. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select a compatible operating system from the drop-down list. Click Apply and then OK.
