My Media Center crashes my unit. Plug-ins are bad and I don't seem to be able to fix them. Can I delete the Media Center from my unit?

My Media Center crashes my unit. Plug-ins are bad and I don't seem to be able to fix them. Can I delete the Media Center from my unit?

Yes, you can delete it. Go to Control Panel > Add & Remove programs and select Add/Remove Components or Turn off or on Windows features. Locate Media Center in the list and uncheck it. Wait for the process to complete and the application will be removed from your computer.
