My Max scenes are getting bigger and bigger.

Is it possible to 'bind' materials and JPEGs to the MAX file to make it smaller and still make changes?

No, you can't bind materials and JPEG files to the MAX file, but there are a few tricks around that you can use to reduce the file size:

1. Use the Maxscript listener and type the following command gc(). It will run the Garbage Cleaner tool to reduce the file size.

2. Save to a new file. Open the Max with all the scenes and then save to a new file and it will also reduce the size.
