Right click the multiplayer entry in Steam and go to Properties. Select the option from the drop down menu to be as: Always keep this product up to date. Alternatively, update DirectX, graphic card, and sound card drivers but keeping the product up to date is the best thing to do if you experience crashes. Also, turn off any security solutions while you play the game.
