On opening the game (after installing), it says "Failed to Initialize Ivor". What should I do next?

This is a problem with the display driver and graphic components. You need to make sure that the driver for the graphics card is installed properly and the sliders on graphical acceleration are enabled. To check these, go to Start > Run and type dxdiag then go to Display tab and check the sliders to be on the left side.
