How to open a MDI file in Microsoft Office?
MDI files are image files used by Microsoft Office via OCR (optical character recognition) and can only be opened or edited with Office Document Imaging. For doing that you will need to go in Microsoft Office folder from your computer and open Microsoft Office Tools. Select Microsoft Office Document Imaging and open your MDI file.
