How do I put Adobe Flash Player icon on the desktop?

You need a stand-alone application to play SWF files Proceed to http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html and then click on link Download the Windows Flash Player 10.1 Projector

Alternatively, here is the direct link: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/10/flashplayer_10_sa.exe

You can't add the Adobe Flash Player icon on the desktop, because it is a plugin for web browsers. It is installed within your browser and it allows you to play the flash content of a web page. If you want to play flash file formats on your computer, you will need to download and install Adobe Flash Player Standalone.
