We have forgotten the password and cannot reset the application. What to do?

Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.

After uninstall operation, restart the computer, then install it again and the password should be removed. You might need to configure the network preferences all over again.
