My iPod Classic has frozen with the "Do not disconnect" message on the screen.

My iPod Classic has frozen with the "Do not disconnect" message on the screen. What can I do? Also, I can't open iTunes.

Try re-installing iTunes. Then open iTunes with the Pod connected.
If it does not work then do the same thing, but with the Pod not connected.

As you can see on the official web page, in order to fix the issue, you need to reset the device. Follow the instructions provided by Apple and you will be able to use the iPod Classic again. Also, if iTunes is not opening, I suggest you upgrade it to the latest version.
