I've loaded the software, but there is no icon to confirm the installation.

I've loaded the software, but there is no icon to confirm the installation. It doesn't appear in the Control Panel. What can I do?

From what it seems, the software is not installed properly. First, delete the installation package and navigate to HP Support page to download a new copy. After that, press the red Download button, save the file to your computer, launch the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. If you have issues, make sure your computer runs Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system.
