I bought Microsoft Office 2007 with the understanding I would get the update to Microsoft Office 2010 for free. What do I have to do to install the update?

I bought Microsoft Office 2007 with the intention to get the update to Microsoft Office 2010 for free. What do I have to do to install the update?

There is software, which you never get for free... Can you get Windows 7 for free if you are an XP user... All new versions need to be paid, because the are doing a lot of research for what would be better... And "If you are good at anything, never do it for Free"... Office 2007 has all functions same as that of Office 2010... Only the Interface of One-Note has changed & an extra function has been added, which I didn't find useful...

What I meant is that my Microsoft Office is not activated, I have my product key but it cannot work.

You can't acquire Microsoft Office 2010 for free if you have Microsoft Office 2007 installed on your computer. You will need to buy a new licence for Microsoft Office 2010. Only the trial version of this package was available for free, but Microsoft no longer offers a trial version of this suite.
