I really want to know how can I "walk" on the street. Once I did it but then forgot. Can you help?

Google added an impressive update to Google Maps... Some select streets are available in 3D... This means you can virtually walk through streets and change the camera angle...
Some examples: Howard Street, San Francisco, Google Campus, New York and Luxor, Las Vegas...
It's pretty awesome but the amount of locations that have this kind of 3D imagery are extremely limited.

That feature is called "Street view". Unfortunately, it is available only in certain locations. In order to use it, select the orange icon below the navigation control and drag and drop it on your map:

Check the Street View in Google Earth page for further details.
