I get "Component ‘VATSIMVL.ocx’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" message. How can I rectify the problem?

When I start Flight Simulator X or if I click FSFDT control panel, I get "Component ‘VATSIMVL.ocx’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" message. How can I rectify the problem?

Go to Start, type CMD in the search box and open the utility using Administrator rights. Type regsvr32 /u VATSIMVL.ocx, press Enter, type regsvr32 /i VATSIMVL.ocx and hit the Enter key again. Close the utility and restart your computer. If the problem is not solved, uninstall and reinstall the application. Also, check the official forum for further solutions.
