Browser Defender is a toolbar specially designed for Internet Explorer browser. In order to solve the problems, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall it. To remove the utility from your browser, open Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Manage Add-ons. Select the Browser Defender toolbar and press Disable.
