Press Windows + R key combination, type msconfig and click OK. Go to Startup tab, un-check the issch and isuspm boxes, click Apply and restart your computer. After that, go again to System Configuration utility, check the Selective startup box from the General tab and reboot the PC. If this doesn't solve the problem, reinstall Sonic Update Manager.
