I can't open subtitles from local drives. I have installed the latest version of K-lite Mega Codec Pack, but it's still not working because I cannot open a subtitle from anywhere. What is the problem?

The application already contains the basic drivers to play most known audio and video files. However, it is known that K-Lite Codec Pack sometimes causes more harm. In this case I would like to recommend you to use Combined Community Codec Pack. There is a trick for the player to automatically recognize the subtitle files. Make sure the subtitle is in the SUB or SRT format (SRT preferred) and then rename it to have exactly the same name as the movie file and it will work this way.
