I've downloaded the game but don't have any maps or servers displayed. What am I doing wrong ?

Desert Conflict is a mode for Battlefield 2. If there are no maps or servers, it means that nobody is hosting a game. This game is pretty old and it is possible that people don't play it anymore. This is the main reason that you can't see any servers listed.
