I get an error message that states that AOL did not link to the IMAP server. What can I do? Also, I have lost my favorite places.

In order to fix the issue, I suggest you remove AOL Desktop from your PC and then download and install the updated version from the official web page. Once you install it, set your security program and Windows Firewall to allow it to communicate and configure your account. If you have problems, you will need to contact AOL Support team.
