I am unable to run NTI CD DVD-Maker 7 v7.7.0.25. What to do?

It seems I have the same problem as guest #5740453. The program was installed by ACER on my laptop and I don't have CD copy of the program. The problem appeared at a time I wanted to burn a recording for a friend on the CD. I had to resort to another programme as a temporary measure. Any advice/help would be very welcome.

This problem is related to the Windows Updates performed by your computer. It seems that the problem is related to one of the recently update installed in your computer. The developers may come in handy at this point, because they can say what the update is and what you should do at this moment.
