This "software.informer" program says that I have 14 programs that have updates.....my question is:
Are these FREE updates or do they require that I purchase something else OR does the program: "software.informer" not know one way or the other? I may have a program 7.2 and program 11.3 is now available....I may not want to pay the company even more money to update, when I'm happy with the version 7.2 that I'm currently using.

Software Informer is not yet able to distinct between an update and upgrade, it can just inform that there is a newer version. And then you can learn either it is an update or upgrade from the review on the site or by visiting a product's home page.

Thank you Joan. You verified what I thought, that Software Informer couldn't tell the difference.
