I can't open LimeWire. I think that AVG blocks the program. I don't want to uninstall it, because it is a gift. What can I do?

I can't open LimeWire. I think that AVG blocks the program. I don't want to uninstall it, because it is a gift. What can I do?

when i try to use limewire it say lime wire need java runtime environment 6.0 :(

In order to solve the problem, open the antivirus and go to Tools > Profiles > Computer within domain > Applications. Next, click the Add button, navigate to the installation directory of LimeWire, select its executable file and click Open. After that, go to the Application action drop-down menu and select Allow for all option. Click Apply and then OK. If the problem is not solved, reinstall LimeWire.
