I reformatted my Acer laptop. After this process, I installed all the drivers and software from the Acer CD. When I tried the Crystal Eye built-in webcam it failed. Every time I try to open it, a text box appears saying "Camera Not Found". Do you know how I can fix it? I followed the instructions but I'm not sure why it's not working.

My Acer webcam says "Camera not found". I can see my friends but they cant see me. I downloaded Skype but then I uninstalled it. How do I fix this so I can use my webcam again?

Go to start > all programs > acer > acer recovery management > restore > reinstall drivers or applications > contents > locate the webcam driver > click to run it

there you have your webcam back

In order to fix the problem, access Acer Download Center, identify your computer model, select your operating system and download the latest webcam files. After that, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Imaging Devices list, right-click on the webcam driver and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the downloaded package, select the driver and install it following the on-screen instructions. If the issue persists, I recommend you contact Acer Support team.

After reinstallation of OS then go to Acer Customer Service download a webcam driver from here then run the driver. I think your webcam work properly.

Maybe you need to install additional driver for the device(camera). Try using driver updater or finder app, like driver detective
