I have Service Pack 3 and the installation wants Service Pack 2? Why is this happening?

It shouldn't display this message, however, if the application is developed to run on Windows XP Service Pack 2 only it will give you errors if you're going to use it in a Service Pack 3 environment. Try to apply compatibility settings to the main file then run the software again.
