seam adjustment overwrites lithologies above. How can I stop this?

Question

Using program for coal seam adjustment after geophysics, but have no help file provided. (anyone have Megs2.HLP ???). When you adjust a seam with pick and drag it just overwrites whatever lies above or below. Cant adjust the whole column>

Hi Kevin,
You need to use the create boundaries tool and do this further up the hole if you want to adjust the seams upwards. Create 2 boundaries in a lithology further up the hole away from the seams and delete the unit. This will move all units below up by the thickness of the unit you deleted.
