I have a Windows Vista HP computer and I've lost my Roxio Creator Basic V9.0 CD burner. How can I get it back?

Click the Start button, then All Programs, Then PC Help and Tools Folder, then select Recovery Manager, User Account Control Box will appear, (On my system the program that needs permission is Restore7.exe, with an unidentified Publisher) Select Allow. The HP Recovery Manager should appear. Click Advanced options, on the next Panel select Software program re-installation from the list of choices and then click on Next at the bottom of the panel, then click next again and then select Roxio Creator from the list and select next. this should start a reinstall of the software.

Unfortunately, you can't download the software anymore because there isn't an online resource available for this purpose. The only way to obtain more information about it is to contact the developer. From what it seems, Roxio Creator Basic has been discontinued and replaced by Roxio Creator NXT 2. Also, you can check Software Informer database for an alternative CD burner. Many of them are free of charge and have the same main features like Roxio Creator Basic.
