Is Winzip 6.3-8.0 not compatible with Windows 7? I can't open a file created in previous versions.

Although the versions mentioned are quite old, WinZIP works well in Windows 7. You might receive a compatibility warning window when the program is starting but it can be ignored as the program works correctly. Also, if you encounter problems with the file, you might want to try WinRAR as it is able to open a wider variety of archive file types.
