Bought Instant Music for Mac and cannot register the CD

Bought Instant Music for Mac and cannot register the CD Spin Doctor to begin recording. On the back of the envelope where the CD comes I find a code but when I input it on the same way it is written it says that it is a wrong code. Can you help me?

Make sure that the code was not used before. If you have purchased the CD you can contact the developers and ask a question related to this issue. These registration errors are handled by the developers of the application through the support center they have implemented or by email.

It was bought brand new and the sealed package was opened by me. When I introduce the CD key XX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX THE INFORMATION IS THAT: The CD KEY you entered is not valid. Please re-enter the CD key as described above.
