What can I do if the performance has not increased after the cleaning operation?

What other steps or things can I do because I have tried getting an app that looks like a little dust brush which is supposed to clean up memory and files and applications you don't need. But it was running slower than it was before I had the program. Please help!

If the previous answers didn't worked, you should factory reset the phone, removing all the applications, cache data, dalvik cache, etc. Practically the phone returns to the default state as it were when it was purchased. You can do this by entering the Recovery mode while pressing Volume UP + Power for a few seconds. You can use the volume buttons to navigate and Menu as the confirm button.
