The version you're having at the moment is lower than the latest one released on the Sony's website. The problem consists is your software is outdated and it doesn't support new operating systems like Windows Vista, 7, etc. I suggest you download an updated version of the software from the Sony's website and perform an upgrade. Also when you will be installing the new version, please run the package with Run as Administrator option because the software needs to replace some system files which are required for the good functionality.
