How to copy text from secured PDF files on Mac by removing copy protection?

I want to copy text from a PDF file for my assignment. It's secured however. How can I copy the protected contents from the PDF file on my Mac? Do you guys have any good suggestions?

If you have Internet connection you can use an online service to remove the security settings of your PDF files. After you upload and submit the files, the system will automatically begin the process of removing the security settings and the password that your PDF file contains, then you will be able to copy the text without any limitations.
