I can't play GTA Vice City game on Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) because I receive the following error message when I click the application. Please help me to avoid this.

"The program can't start because d3dx9_26.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

You are missing an important file which belongs to the DirectX package. In order to restore functionality of your game, I strongly suggest you download the official DirectX package from the Microsoft website. The setup will install all the needed files into their rightful places. You application will then work as it should.

type d3dx9_26.dll in the start menu search... copy and paste in the folder in which your .exe file exists...... ASHISH
