I have a new and active TATA Photon Plus Dongle but the service of TATA Photon has been withdrawn from North East India so the device became idle.

If the dongle is not locked to a specific network, then you can use it with any Internet SIM enabled card. For any details regarding connection you will need to contact the carrier in order you can obtain the configuration settings which you need to apply to the support software and then you can use it normally.

Step by step instruction-
Insert SIM in Modem.
Modem show invalid SIM, just ignore it and close modem software.
Start NOKIA PC suite. (Please do not use the latest Nokia Suite , Download it by Clicking on this link then click on skip advert http://www.shorthit.com/ZJp8)
Goto nokia pc suite connect to internet option.
Goto Configure. Select your data card modem, and make all operator apn setting as like when we use nokia mobile connection.
Finish set up.
Now connect to internet through PC suite.
Wow your net is connected without unlocking the modem.

Or

You can use it by other method also just put sim card in the modem and connect it to PC. Modem software says invalid sim ,just go to connections and connect your sim will be recognized there...connect it. Worked for us in win7 but it did not worked in XP.
