Atheros AR5007 WiFi adapter problems

It was working fine one night, but next morning it continued to give error message when I tried to connect to the Internet.

When I go to adapter properties device status, it says: This device is working properly.
However, Connection says: Connected with limited capability and will not connect to any web pages.
Diagnostics says: Network adapater Atheros AR5007 802.11b/h WiFi adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related issues. It also says: "Make sure your Internet Protocol Bindings are correct", but they are.

I'm having the same issue. I updated the driver and now can not connect to my wireless network. Tried rolling back the driver and it did not do any good. Tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it. Still no good. Any help please.

The best thing to do when you encounter these problems is to completely remove the driver. It may sound awkward, but the problem is related to registry configuration. Just because the settings are not configured properly, you can't enjoy your Internet connection and since it's hard to diagnose, a fresh installation usually fixes the problem. Also try to get updated drivers for your product as it may have bug fixes and any other enhancements. Once you do this with a fresh installation, I can assure you that you will enjoy your Internet connection.

It is also possible that the software which manages the WiFi connections has bugs. Please switch the management mode to Windows and let the OS handle the connections. It has been proven that this is a fix to all major connections problems.
