The message "web.archive.org took too long to respond" appearing on Google Chrome for the Wayback Machine page could indicate that there was an error with the website, a slowdown in servers, or a temporary downtime of the archive.org site. It may be due to a slower connection. Refreshing the page or trying again later might resolve the issue.

Sometimes a message says "502 Bad Gateway" appears when displayed after connecting on my network because the server returned an invalid or incomplete response. They appears that the page will not be displayed for the web browser, but because, the server to have been slow down for this network connection or may it have been slower.
