A smart phone is a phone which has smart feature like independent operating system, touch screen, wireless, expanded storage capabilities, professional camera, etc. An Android phone is a phone which is running entirely on Android OS developed by Google. This phone is using applications from the Google Play Store and handles APK as executable files. An Android based phone could benefit from the same features mentioned about because Android is spread on smartphone from different manufacturers. In this case, Nokia is using Windows Mobile and Symbian as their primary operating system, BlackBerry uses RIM, Samsung uses Android and its own proprietary system, LG and Asus use Android along with its own proprietary operating systems as well.
