How can I know if Snipping tools are compatible with my Window XP?

The Snipping feature is available for Windows Vista, 7 and 8 operating systems. Alternatively, you can use Hypersnap for a replacement to Snipping tools. You will have additional tools available among other cropping features.

Yes, but Hypersnap is not free. This one is the free Snipping Tool clone for download:
