The dvdSanta is an unsupported old application that lacks compatibility with newer versions of Windows. However, I managed to download an installer package and continued the procedure. Although the dvdSanta installs just fine, I found that its features are faulty, therefore I wouldn't recommend using it anymore.

You can try applications like dvdFab or Proshow Gold to burn the slideshows directly to the DVD. These apps are supported and developed for newer versions of Windows as well.
