Bitcoin mining isn't a rapid process. You'll need a very big investment and serious processing power (3-4 GPUs in SLI) to be able to at least get something. Also, "fast" is a relative work. As I said, it depends on how much processing power you'll have at disposal to mine coins.

A single PC won't do the trick. You either make a couple with latest GPUs and CPUs or nothing.

The speed of processing and confirmation depends on the cryptocurrency protocols and networks. The transfer you send will be available to the recipient after several confirmations by the network (2 to 10). In this article you can find tips on when it is best to put bitcoins to withdrawal so that the network is not too busy.

Bitcoin typically requires 2 to 6 network confirmations (20 to 40 minutes).

In cases where the network is overloaded with transactions, confirmation can take up to several hours or even days. The confirmation procedure does not depend on any provider and is solely determined by the speed of transaction processing by cryptocurrency networks.

You can check the bitcoin network load yourself. If the number of unconfirmed transactions exceeds 4-5 thousand, then the network is experiencing overload.

Based on my experience, bitcoin transaction times can vary depending on the fee paid and overall network activity. But most wallet transfers complete relatively quickly.

Typically it takes anywhere from 10 minutes up to an hour for bitcoin to arrive in your personal wallet once sent. Some helpful sites like have guides explaining how miner fees impact bitcoin transfer speeds. The higher the fee, the faster the transaction gets picked up.

During times of heavy network congestion, transfers with very low fees can sometimes take several hours to get confirmed. However, that's quite rare these days as infrastructure has improved to handle more capacity.

For the fastest transfers, I recommend using a wallet that gives you some control over miner fees paid. That way if you need funds received urgently, you can prioritize accordingly. Most decent wallets will calculate an appropriate dynamic fee to begin with though.

But in general, you can expect any bitcoin transactions to confirm in the next block or two, keeping delays to less than 60 minutes on average. Simply check the status of your receiving wallet address on a blockchain explorer to monitor funds incoming.
