Unfortunately, I couldn't find the application to test it for myself, but judging by the fact that it's a 2005 version, I'm guessing that you're having compatibility issues with it.
In case you already have the installer, try right-clicking it, then pressing Properties. In the window that opens up go to the Compatibility tab, check the box marked Run this program in compatibility mode for, then select Windows XP or Windows Vista from the drop-down menu, press Apply then click OK. Also, run the application with administrator privileges.
In case that didn't work, you should try setting up a virtual machine, installing Windows XP on it, then run the application through that virtual machine.
