I've installed the application and it appears that planning is done through the 3rd button on the mouse which is the wheel. Press the wheel button and then move the camera left or right. I've seen that it also zooms in and out while performing the panning.
It doesn't matter if you use it on Windows or Mac since the interface is the same and works in the same way.
