Every app is different and works in its own way and In-Synch RMS doesn't get too far from that "rule". However, I checked their website and found a few images with the interface of the software. From what I see, there is the SAVE icon present at all times. If you add something, simply press save, close and then you can get back and continue your work. Unfortunately, I can't download the software to test it out since it's not available for public downloading.
