Is it possible to download the Johnson J-station editor/librarian to my laptop? If so, how do I connect the two devices to be able to go into the J-station's midi in jack? My laptop has no midi out.
You can still download a copy of the Johnson Amplification J-Edit application through the download page at Software Informer. This is the only place available now from where you can still download the application.
If you don't have a MIDI port on your laptop, then there are adapters available. For example, you can hook up a MIDI converter into the USB ports. There are plenty of these on Amazon or eBay. Simply search MIDI to USB + cable/adapter.
