I have just bought a used Janome 350e with a Digitizer 1.0 CD for the software. The person I bought it from gave me a HASP4 M1, which appears to plug into the computer however the other end looks as though something should plug into it. I am trying to see if there is something else that is supposed to attach to this. I have never used a embroidery machine and not familiar with what is needed to run the digitizer program. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been told about a dongle however I am not sure what this looks like or if that is what I have. Thank for your help.

If the program requires a dongle, then attach it to PC to its normal PORT and use the Digitizer CD to install the drivers for that dongle. This way Windows will recognize the dongle and allow you to use the software. As far as I know the dongle has its own drivers that are required or it won't recognize/authorize the software as it should. I've Googled this product and it appears that you need to plug only one side to PC. The other stays like this since it's actually the same product but with different connection methods.
