How to calculate number of weld beads to fill a bevel groove weld prep or any weld prep?

We are a custom fab shop and weld many large weld joints. I would like to be able to get quantity of bead welds to fill a welding joint. For instance how many passes of weld are there in a 2 1/2" bevel groove prep? How many beads of weld to fill any sized grooved prep?

The only application that I've found is called Weld Estimator and allows you to precisely calculate various items and elements. The software is not free and has the capability of calculating various elements related to welding and beads, joints, etc.
