We need to configure Front Range client agents to report to new VM server in a new Data Centre. The new server will have a different host name and IP address and is not a plate spin of the existing FRD application server. Is it possible to import public and private keys from existing Front Range Discovery application server to the new Front Range Discovery application server in new data centre?

We're hoping we could re-direct clients to new FRD server by editing the ini file xferwan.ini. Along with import of public and private keys from existing FRD application server to new FRD application server is this enough to redirect clients? Are there any registry entries on FRD client agents that would also need editing? We're hoping we can re-direct existing FRD client agents without have to re-package FRD client agent install software. Possibly just run an Sccm delivery package to do nothing more the copy a new xferwan.ini to overwrite existing? We're using version 9.2.

Firewall and port settings are not an issue between existing clients and new FRD application server.

This is one of those applications that require more than just a "go here, do that" procedure. Besides, their support is available only for customers which means public access to documents and knowledge base is not available.

I've searched for this inquiry on other websites, but there is no information about it.

You will have to use the login form to access the support/customer service.
