No, PortaPuTTY is not compatible with Mac, but Mac already features a built-in Terminal that supports Telnet and SSH. PuTTY does the same thing only that it has a few settings more.
However, since PortaPuTTY is not available, then you can use something else like Shuttle: http://fitztrev.github.io/shuttle/
