C811 Setting the Data service will not work, only incoming and outgoing is working.

Question

I installed the APK and the problem for "SIM from unknown source" is resolved. But I need help with few more things please.

1) The Data service will not work only incoming and outgoing is working.
2) I want to upgrade the OS , it is stuck on 4.2.2. How can I do that?

I have a Casio G'zOne Commando 4G LTE C811 (Verizon) and I am using it India with Vodafone Carrier.

The data service needs to be configured. Go to Settings > Wifi and Networks > Mobile Networks > APN. You will have to add the details for the carrier the SIM card belongs to, then you will have the possibility to use the Data Connection. The settings for Internet access are usually placed on the carrier's website.

As for the update, it seems that the phone can be upgraded only through OTA (Over The Air) as shown in this manual: http://www.verizonwireless.com/dam/support/pdf/system_update/commando-lte-instructions.pdf
