Adding a region to the software.

Question

I'm fine working with this software until I get to step 4. I tap my selection for the roof and nothing changes on my photo of my home. When I am working in step 3 I'm successful shading in my roof, but a pop up shows up telling me I need to select the region tab. Where is the region tab? I think that's the problem.
